- Worked part time as a ride pilot giving scenic flights in Schweizer 2-33's and aerobatic flights in ASK-21's.

- Taught cross country soaring in the Sierra Nevada mountains using Soar Hollister's Duo Discus. The students were licensed glider pilots who wanted to learn to fly cross country. Flights were usually thermal flights with some wave flights.
